Piqué and Barta have been their best players tonight. They don't need a total overhaul as they're going to win the league on Sunday but they need some fresh faces.

The problem they have is not so much age - its that the style of play that brought them success has been to an extent found out, aided of course by them ignoring the lessons given by Mourinho's Inter side, Chelsea last season, almost by Arsenal and now by Bayern.

They haven't had the rub of the green in this run like they have in the past as well

That being said, they had the 2nd leg against Chelsea gifted to them twice (Terry getting sent off and the penalty) and they couldn't do it then either

To not even score a goal in this tie is a damning endictement

To an extent yes. Although they did win the CL twice after Inter beat them. They just dont have the intensity for the very high pressurising though, and that goes to the age of the squad. The thing is though, by the time they get that intensity back the game being whjat it is - never stops evolving - Barca's brand of football will be well superceded.
