We are winning the derby lads . In all serioness it was outrages barton got a 12 match ban for assualting 3 players and the ref saw that . I think 6-8 match ban is fair . That would take us to the end of the season and the first 2 games of next season. They really are a bad club. Moyes was honest about fellaini and treated it the right way and you didnt hear about it after but they seem to defend these actions like there everyday things . On both this and the racism there are video footache theres no getting out of it brenda

If he got an 8 match ban for abusing Evra he'll get at least that for this.

Haha yes Brian.

Aldridge was almost catatonic on the City phone in. It was beautiful.

He just didn't know what to say - until tht mental lawyer woman came on at the end and they both concluded that there was no evidence whatsoever of a bite.

One of the best phone-ins ever.

I love how BBC are terming it a 'bite'. Not just a bite but a 'bite'. They refer to it elsewhere as an 'apparent bite'. What more evidence do you need to plainly state it was a bite you ****ing melts video evidence clearly shows him sinking his teeth in and wagging his head like a mental dingo, but yeh for now lets cast doubt on it.

barely mentioned it on the match update. used their usual ouch gimmick icon. think they published about 2 tweets about the incident, when they usually publish 5 every 5 mins from no marks like owen providing something inciteful like "good game this"

Dont understand that mate? Whats the reference?

I grew up around Liverpool fans, from various sex/backgrounds/age groups who would go wide-eyed telling all around that the Heysel tragedy (39 died) was caused by Juventus fans 'killing' their own - something that Liverpool fans were wrongfully, disgracefully accused of themselves.

I honestly regret writing what I did, but it wouldn't surprise me if it happened such was their feeling on the matter.

Ha my liverpool fan cousin has turned defending suarez-unreal i know into we had duncan ferguson do worst etc etc, into me calling them deluded etc, to him then turning it into him saying liverpool fans are not deluded lad its us [everton] that are just because we are above them, everton fans think we are better when you are not FACT admit it, we [liverpool] are the better team coz what av u won in 10yrs irrrm nothing lad so not worth u commenting until u win what we have got -

they get so boring at times lol-and dont like been told the truth, the truth hurts them so much lol

Given the minutes silence before the match Liverpool Football Club staff have truly embarrassed themselves today.

- The Suarez bite

- the 'tackle' by Sturridge on Bertrand

- the gamesmanship by Reina, Carragher, Gerrard and Sturridge before the Chelsea penalty

- the constant abuse given by Carragher to the referee

- Buck Rodgers diversion tactics likening an accidental elbow to a pre-meditated bite

I realize them lot are classless but they've outdone themselves today, and have been embarrassed further by their fans reaction.

There is a part of me that thinks Suarez will get off lightly, Alan Smith mentioned 'witch hunt' before Sky viewers had seen pictures of the incident, and Jermaine Defoe was only booked for a bite, ableit seven years ago.

On the other hand it was probably the most sickening act of violence I have witnessed on a football pitch. The player also has form for a similar incident and has clearly not learnt from his previous punishment.

If a person has violent tendencies like that when things aren't going their way then said person likely has mental issues.

Liverpool will play on the fact that the last incidents, the players were not punished due to the ref seeing them and didnt take action, did the ref see the incident today?

Hard to prove whether it was a real act to cause damage or to wind him up, like a trip or shove. What we do know is there was no damage. The burden of proof (probably won't matter to the FA) is on them.
Am i the only one who doesn't see the big deal with a bite?

Two footed tackles, high one footed tackles, elbows, headbutts.... all are actions which have the potential to cause more harm. All actions which at worst are worth a 3 game ban. While a bite is worth more scrutiny?

I mean for christ sake a bite is an action you can even use in lovemaking. I've bitten my wife on the odd occasion during a passionate one to one. I've not elbowed her. I've not headbutted her. I've not gone in with a two footed tackle on her.

Everyone needs to take a step back a bit. What he did wasn't nice, but it is no way worth the major furore it's getting. It should just be put alongside the same category to what Fellaini did the other month. He received a 3 match ban for that.

I went on RAWK and these were the two first posts ive seen.

For those that are thinking 'most liverpool fans realise luis is a ****' you're wrong. It's desperate. I'd say 60% of them are trying to defend him on RAWK.
