Highly doubt it, but if we are within 3 points at the end of the season you never know!

I do wonder if there will be more of a rebellion against Rafael after his comments. He clearly knew what happened, and the players would have told him - yet he flatly denied seeing the incident. He had the opportunity to protect his players abit by blaming the fact that they should have been down to 10 men - but didn't take it - just to please Liverpool I assume.

If I were a Chelsea player - i'd be pissed.

terry needs to hang him out to dry, why did benitez even take the job? he clearly hates everything about chelsea.

suarez didn't admit to being racist, he won't admit his true intentions here, hopefully it'll extend his ban. either way, i can't say that this whole incident has made me happy, liverpool always come out of everything smelling of roses, just wait until the verdict before dancing in the streets lads...remember what he got away with in the derby. remember what clattenburg got away with, remember the countless times gerrard has cheated victory and gotten away with it.

Given the minutes silence before the match Liverpool Football Club staff have truly embarrassed themselves today.

- The Suarez bite

- the 'tackle' by Sturridge on Bertrand

- the gamesmanship by Reina, Carragher, Gerrard and Sturridge before the Chelsea penalty

- the constant abuse given by Carragher to the referee

- Buck Rodgers diversion tactics likening an accidental elbow to a pre-meditated bite

I realize them lot are classless but they've outdone themselves today, and have been embarrassed further by their fans reaction.

There is a part of me that thinks Suarez will get off lightly, Alan Smith mentioned 'witch hunt' before Sky viewers had seen pictures of the incident, and Jermaine Defoe was only booked for a bite, ableit seven years ago.

On the other hand it was probably the most sickening act of violence I have witnessed on a football pitch. The player also has form for a similar incident and has clearly not learnt from his previous punishment.

If a person has violent tendencies like that when things aren't going their way then said person likely has mental issues.

he's also facing a FIFA ban for the punch as well right? who would pay good money for a player who will be rusty for not playing for half a year (which SHOULD be minimum)

Cantona - reacts to a racist
Keane gets even with a player who crocked him
Totti merely a snide who spat at someone
Zidane reacted to a taunt about his family

...yeah, defo similarities with a racist, flesh eating ****wit.

Look at the way his head moves from side to side when he chomps down...like a terrier with rat.

The feller needs punting asap. What sort of club keeps hold of a player like that? They like to talk the talk of being *an institution* and a club with *principle*. Let's see some action from them.

I wont hold my breath like. It took them years and years to hold up their hands for *cough* other events.

The head shaking is what makes it even odder.
As you say, it's like a dog isn't it.

If I was a balanced open minded Liverpool fan (if such a thing exists) - I would be shaking my head in shame at the comments their deluded fans are spouting tonight on 5 live - in defending todays events.
They are all utter bulbs of the highest order.

Minutes silence for the sewer rat if he gets a season ending ban - nailed on.
