In fact, how is he refereeing? Every single person on the planet has strongly said he shouldn’t have made the VAR referral. Ref had the final say but his input is accepted as one of the worst pieces of officiating since VAR was invented. Other officials have been stood down for big mistakes. Idiot. Hope he makes another massive clanger here. Gives Newcastle a really bad penalty decision.

It was a mistake that affected Everton not the RS. It wasn't discussed on Football Focus and there is no Ref Watch this week so it has effectively been brushed under the carpet. I wonder if MOTD will discuss it?
