Thought that. Tradition in a massive match is one thing, but surprised the players haven’t queried it. Obviously the ref won’t have the bottle to say anything as it doesn’t affect Sheffield United.

Aye, still really struggle though. Just searched colour blind on twitter and very significant volume all saying the same thing.

In fact, how is he refereeing? Every single person on the planet has strongly said he shouldn’t have made the VAR referral. Ref had the final say but his input is accepted as one of the worst pieces of officiating since VAR was invented. Other officials have been stood down for big mistakes. Idiot. Hope he makes another massive clanger here. Gives Newcastle a really bad penalty decision.

Im not colour blind and its almost impossible to tell them apart unless I focus really hard.

one side has black shorts and red socks.
the other side has white shorts and white socks.
The side with the majority of the ball doing the most playing are the white shorts and socks ones.
