The PL should award Wolves 1 point for that blatant error. The same for other teams when they get it so embarrassingly wrong. There has to be some accountability as nothing will change and probably get more corrupt.
End of the season Everton will have about 20 var points.

Watched about an hour of it. What i often notice watching other sides who are not particularly big sides/clubs they all look so comfortable on the ball compared to Everton. We had 41% possession against fulham on sat. And we've been like that for a few years. Possession isnt everything but why do we seem to buy so many players who look like they've just been introduced to a ball and other clubs get players who are so comfortable in possession.
It's incredibly rare to see Everton put 3 passes together, unless it's between the centre backs.

Wolves looked great last night eh. I had lulled myself into thinking that with their sales and Lopewhathisface quitting they would be in trouble. Completely forgetting they actually have some real quality in the side. Pedro Neto, Ait Nouri, Nunes, all top half players. O'Neil made Bournemouth into a hard outfit to play against, think he could do even better at Wolves.

As for the pen. Point of VAR if officials will continue to lick the boot and give favourable decisions to the Sky Six? Just a veneer of objectivity.
Yeah, had hoped they would be worse than us after all the upheaval. As it turns out, they are miles better.
Top half finish for them.

Really is a farce isn't it? Come the end of the season, a decision like that last night could be the difference between staying up or being relegated. The financial implication being enormous.

OK, it's sport. Officials get it as wrong as the players but we were led to believe that VAR would help assist officials to get more decisions right. Sadly this isn't the case. Wolves have suffered more than their share of these poor decisions. Who can forget the nonsense of cameras not working at Anfield?

There is more spotlight on games now with multiple TV angles so it is bemusing and puzzling to see how some of these decisions are being interpreted. It speaks to cronyism and officials protecting each other rather than making the right calls. Our disallowed goal at the weekend being another example. That was a good goal every bit as much as Wolves should have had a penalty.

I don't know the answer to this but to me, it strikes me that anywhere else on the pitch free kicks are given for fouls but the criteria is different in the penalty box. I just don't know why more pens aren't given? There is obstruction going on at literally every single corner taken so why isn't that called? Last night, we saw a MUFC player manhandling a Wolves player at a corner. He wasn't even looking at the ball, just trying to block the run and in doing so, had his hands on the Wolves player. That's a pen in my book... never given though is it?

I don't want to say it's corruption as it is still a sport but you seriously have to question why that wasn't given last night. I can guarantee if that's at the other end and in favour of Utd, it's a pen. No question.

The Velodrome is a wonderful place on nights like tonight. Not the most competitive of games as Panathinaikos have offered nothing, but Auba took his goals well at either end of the half.
