Fully agree they really have no realistic chance of anything better atm, they did have a chance the year Leicester won it, pushing them most of the way before fading badly in the final stretch.

I'm pretty sure they'd take it seriously if they get to the later stages, but the FA cup isn't anything like as prestigious as it once was and a top four manager could still get sacked despite winning it.

Louis van Gaal actually got sacked straight after winning it. Conté won it last season but it just doesn't rate and he started this season on borrowed time. If Spurs didnt get top four but won the cup Poch's job may come under pressure too.

Its just a fact of life these days that the really top clubs don't rate it.

Liverpool are talking of putting a sixteen year old Ki-Jana Hoever in their squad for Molyneux.
Which us why the 'champions' league, which should really be called the runners up league, as most of the teams there are runners up, should be destroyed.

Would you make a trip from dat der London to Birkenhead on a Friday night with no trains running to take you home?

Yes you could drive or get a coach, but still.

Had an away trip to Cardiff on new years day with no transport home where we sold out our allocation and an away trip to Tranmere three days later with no transport home.

And some people have a pop because we didn't completely sell out our allocation.

The sooner the paying fans stop taking it up the Gary Glitter dry from Sky and BT the better.

Went the Tranmere game. Men against boys.

Looked like Spurs didn't sell out their small allocation though. Can only assume there was a BT-related boycott as that is shocking.

I will be keenly watching all your away games from now on. God help you if you fail to sell any of them out! ;-)

Without wanting to be antagonistic at all, I'd be genuinely surprised to find an away allocation we haven't sold out in a long, long time.

So yes I do expect that we'd probably sell out if it were the other way round, but we're an odd bunch who are glutens for punishments which probably explains it.

Can I change it to home games then?

Glutens for punishment a Southern thing ?
