Then there's Spurs, admittedly they offer hope to the rest of us that it's possible to get to a champions league final and be a stable top four side if run properly and efficiently. Never the less they're still so far ahead of everyone outside the top six that it's difficult to imagine them not being a part of it for the indefinite future.
Done that while building a magnificent stadium which has put them above Arsenal IMO , we desperately need a new statement stadium to catch up.

Apart from all that though mate you have a lovely weekend ;)

I know what you mean and unfortunately there isn't much we can do and we just gotta hope once in a while we are in the running to win something every now and then. Its a case of begrudgingly having to accept it or just completely give up on togger and Everton for good.

Mac, having seen the ease with which we despatched United and Arsenal, how we tore Chelsea a new one in the second half and the fact that we have single handedly wrestled the Title from the RS grasp and have put City in the driving seat for Sunday, all in the course of the last four or five home games, I do not see the gap as being insurmountable even in the immediate future.

City are in a league of their own....what they have done in the league this season is a reprise of last season and will in all likelihood carry on next season.

The RS will not.....they will come back to the pack and there is no reason IMO why we should not be in that pack.

So as far as I am concerned it is onward Evertonians next season......which at this moment is a blank canvas waiting for us to paint a glorious picture :)

Sucks for Azerbaijani people, they were expecting world's biggest clubs in their city and all they got now PL's 3 and 5th placed teams. Baku won't be bothered.

He's young but every time I see Maitland-Niles he looks very bad. If I'm not mistaken he was also the one who put the ball out for a goal kick from a throw in when we beat them? Crap.
He's a very good CM being asked to play as a RB because we were too cheap yo spend money on a RB when Bellerin got injured. Instead we got some old bloke on a free that Juve had sent to the glue factory.

How is Ross Barkley a Chelsea academy player? Aren't you an Everton fan or is that a stupid question?
Sorry I meant the 2 academy players were Loftus Cheek and Christensen for Chelsea. I guess it wasn't clear in the post. Anyways, why wouldn't I be?

Apropos of nothing out of boredom i checked our final positions over the lifetime of the Premier League.

In the first 17 seasons we averaged 10th place.
In the last 10 seasons we have aveaged 4th.

Slow but steady.

Nevermind all that just let us beat you Sunday so the reds get even more confident, then please please beat them in the final.. Thanks

Our fans?
Jags, Bainesy, Siggy, Richy, Picky, Snides, Keano and didn't some call Pienaar Peanuts?
Jagielka is Chunky or Fat [insert rude word here]. Pickford is Thickford or Prickford.

I wonder if it's because people can't get Jagielka's name right. They always say 'JAG-ee-el-ka' and not 'yag-EL-ka', which is how the man himself pronounces it.

Perth Glory have just reached the Australian league grand final after a 3-3 draw, beating Adelaide 5-4 on penlaties.
Home final against Sydney or Melbourne next weekend.

Sorry to bore you with non Spurs/ RS football
Was watching this earlier.....looked like a good game....equaliser to 2-2 in the last min of normal time...thats the last I saw..was in the gym at the time...ta for the update.. ;)
