The top teams in that league is in decline there is no doubt about it. TOP class recruitment is needed to freshen the likes of Madrid, Barca and athletico. You only need to watch Madrid and Barca week in week out and realise they are a pale shadow of their former glory not too Long ago. Just over the weekend, Barca second string struggle massively against a lower half team.
The dominant Spanish football that we used to see half a decade ago is in decline. Coincides with the retirement of Spanish golden generation.

I was just about to post about this. The Premier League is back to being the best in the world but it’s mostly down to the top teams in the other leagues declining. Bayern, Barca, Real, Juventus, etc. don’t look nearly as good as in recent years. Overall the football was better across the board 10 years ago, but those players have aged and most of their clubs have stubbornly hung on to them or failed to move on properly.
 
Felt a strange sense of calm wash over me in the last hour and you know what? I honestly don't care. Screw them, I wouldn't be a Kopite for anything. Proud to be a blue no matter what and I wouldn't trade all the endless downs we have for any manufactured highs that being one of them would offer. Bring them on tomorrow in work. If I go to my grave and never see us win somthing again it'll still be time amazingly well spent, noting will ever be better then being an Evertonian. Nothing. ETID!FB_IMG_1540907230065.webp

Yep. Reds were good tonight dont get me wrong but Barca players made it easy for them. Very weak mentally and once they got that second goal Barca should have gone all out for the away goal as it was inevitable the mutants would score. Never seen jordi alba give the ball away so much or be so frail defensively. Like I said, it happens a lot to teams who play them it's bizarre. That or they get some spawny goal, reffing decision when they need it.
 
Africa has gone into meltdown because of tonight's game. I didn't know so many Africans used twitter.

Also can we have a moment of silence for Photoshop? It's taking a hell of a beating tonight with the artwork and memes. R.I.P

Yes we built our teams on youth and big signings - now it's just waste as much money as we can on failures Sandro Tosun 27 million etc......plus more players who we want to keep want to go, players we need to get rid of get life contracts.......
It needs sorting a new ground with an average team is not the answer .......
