Huh? At no point did any Leeds player indicate they were going to kick the ball out of play from what I can seeOnly cos the Leeds player indicated he was booting the ball out .

Seen it many times mate. For me the Leeds player looks like he is going to kick it out. Then plays the pass when he sees he was wide open.Nah, look at it again. Leeds play on, Villa are the ones who slow down. The player that plays the pass is calling for the ball and wants to get on with it - he stops and gets his head up and makes the pass when he sees the player in space.
When the ball came to him on the left wing, shortly after the challenge in the centre circle. 2 Villa players moved towards him to close him down/tackle, and he stopped, pointed at the touchline, they stopped, and he passed it up field instead.
Yeah think soIsn't the Leeds player who scored fractionally offside anyway ?
I can't see that on the video I just posted, and you can see the entire overview of the situation. The Leeds winger (who ends up playing the through ball to the striker) points to his centre mid that he wants the ball played out wide, maybe that was misconstrued by the Villa team that they were going to put it out??The sky clip on here earlier clearly showed he pointed to the touchline.
That didn't happen. He gestures to keep the ball moving wide.

... then he looks up for the pass - the Villa players have all stopped playing...

If you're talking about that weird thing he's doing with his right arm, look at him throughout the clip - he does it like three times, it seems to be a quirk he has when running with the ball. Regardless, at no stage does he look to stop play - Villa just completely stop playing.
The actual moving clip on here showed him indicating he was kicking it out. Clearly.
