Lasted a while before all the pundits turned.

Should be making longer term business decisions based on more than emotion and what's popular right now with their fans and the pundits who reflect it.

Solskjaer was never even remotely comparable to Pochettino, whatever he did in less than three months of a single season, short term populism at it's worst.

United should have learnt but they don't know what they're doing.

Gary Neville co-commentating today means one thing.......Reds chief cheer leader Carragher will be giving his unbiased opinion tomorrow. Shameful how he is commentating in Liverpool games, let alone still in a job.
Oddly old big nose Thompson doesn't get rs games on GSS (although I can't remember the last time they were 3 pm sat)

Depends how attainable Poch or a Conte was.

Think you're being overly critical of Solskjaer there. He is a club legend with a winning mentality, who understands the club and turned round a terrible season for them, having them contending for the top 4 when they had no chance previously. If he hadn't have turned it around this season, they'd have far more work to do next season.

Pochettino has won nothing in England yet. He's a very good manager but it's not certain he'd have left Spurs to go to United at this stage anyway. If he wins the CL for Spurs that would be an unbelievable achievement though, but think he has more chance of achieving things there than at United.

Knee jerk reaction the appointment of solskjaer for me they will be looking to get him out sometime next season.

He is a club legend, but his managerial CV (Cardiff and Molde) didn’t give him the credentials to manage a club of united’s stature. Some would say silva’s CV doesn’t warrant the chance to manage Everton, but at least he has had more experience then solskjaer.
