Where does this rank as one of the worst defeats in Scottish football history for the national team in a competitive game?

Former keeper Allan McGregor couldn't think of a single worse one especially in the manner of it and the decisive nature of 3-0, especially given it was against a team that hadn't won at all in their previous qualifying campaign.

Its an absolutely huge blow, what psychological effect could that have on the team?
