Good loan season at Palace, always looked good when getting a game for Chelsea, played well for England

At the end of the day he's a victim of his own nationality

Because he's English people push back against the deserved hype he gets, because there's an inbuilt bias to people when it comes to bigging up English players. He's a cracking player and once he's playing regularly every week he'll prove it

He made a 10 minute cameo in Englands first world cup game and looked decent, he then started against panama and was invisible for the entire match despite England battering them and Panama being no better than a local pub team.

He barely plays for Chelsea and when he does he gets criticised for being lazy by his manager, his off the ball contributions are non existent, Ozil would be proud.

A few flicks here and there and people think he's boss. Dont care one bit about his nationality either, maddison has been in great form this season and is far more deserving of a call up than a sub who never gets used.
