Sanchez, and Pogba because the sums didn't add up. Outbid either on fee or wages and chose to pull out and leave them to it. I would have added VVD, but even though we were unprepared to match the fee because he had already made it clear he wanted Liverpool. They still had to outbid us to make sure.

Why will I look silly? 2 leagues out of 3 is a minimum for the money he has spent in my opinion. And I wouldn’t look silly I’d be buzzing because it would prevent lfc from the title.

Utd have spent more, Liverpool spent more in the last window yet they have thrown 2 comps to concentrate on the league. City have gone balls out for every trophy they can get. Pep's first season we had an ageing squad and he was new to the league. He addressed the issues and won a record point haul, becoming a centurion, something which had never been done before. This year we have been crippled by injuries but we are still in the fight, We also haven't had the Liverpool benefit of of numerous offside goals and soft pens. Are you honestly suggesting that if Liverpool win the league courtesy of dubious refereeing decisions Pep will have been a failure?

1 league win in 3 isn’t good enough in my opinion. Winning CL changes matters like, but a league cup isn’t going to make up for it, he needs a league or a CL.
 
Once again Football fans attacked by European police. This time Celtic fans set upon by Spanish police (unidentifiable) with batons and rubber bullets.
