The referee doesn’t get to review just anything, the person monitoring the game for VAR has to tell him something is worth taking another look at. The amount of whinging (which you’re correct in saying is way out of control) should be about the same as before.

I hope VAR is never used in the Premier League. Horrible system, crap refs, what could go wrong?

The players as well.

In other sports the players keep their distance and accept the outcome with grace.

Football players are cut from a different cloth....they are far too indisciplined for VAR.
