How City must be ruing having had us as their last opponents.

To be fair, it's never good having such an easy game before hand. We can only hope it has a similar effect on Liverpool.

Liverpool attacking with intent. Liverpool pressing with intent. Man City having no time on the ball....press press press. Everything that was missing from the Everton team on Saturday. We actually let them have the ball and invited them on to us. Only way to beat City is to stop them getting into a stride and disrupting them. A time will come in the game when Liverpools energy levels will drop and that is when City have to capitalise.

3 teams have done that.

Liverpool, Bristol City, and Wigan.

The rest have been scared. Pathetic.

I really think they need more. Liverpool aren't nailed onto roll over next week. The only time that's happened all season was on the back of a sending off.

I’d be having a good laugh at City if they were playing anyone else.

I’ll be having the mother of all laughs though if they can somehow pull this around over two legs.

Giving that lot a three goal start though is hardly the best way to go about things. But not surprising either.
