I remember when players used to ride "challenges" like that and keep going instead of going down like they've been shot. I don't recall seeing much of anything near this much play-acting back in the mid-80s.
Indeed...anyone who does it nowadays is a cheat in my eyes and snide Ali is the worst offender like Gerrard before him....

Admittedly he makes the most of the incidents but, in a nutshell, if you don't go down the ref doesn't give it. Seen it several times this season where he, Kane and Son etc have been fouled in the box but because they have stayed on their feet it gives the ref the chance to duck the decision.
If he's fouled, why does he need to "make the most of it"? Mere contact is not a foul. It's a contact sport ffs.
Not just aimed at Ali or Spurs. Many players do it, including one or two at Palace but;
1. I'm ****ing sick of it and
2. I'm sick of ****ing matey pundits defending and justifying it.

Every time Dele is fouled the media have to hold an inquest. Which 9 times out of 10 (or move) prove he was fouled/the ref was correct.

It's all part of the media agenda to do the usual 'build them up and knock them down' seen it all before dozens of times.

If he played for someone else I would probably hate him as well but I LOVE him at Spurs.
Your lads have adopted the Suarez era kopite strategy of diving under every challenge in the area in a tight game. See Kane vs Juve and Alli against Rochdale. That's just in the last week. I'm not buying that it is a result of not getting decisions because Alli has been diving basically since he joined Spurs
