Any idea why the Lower Leppings Lane End appears to be closed for the Wednesday vs. Swansea fixture, while the upper terrace is open?

Obviously there's the clear link with the dreadful events in the '89 Semi-Final, however as I've seen it used in other fixtures I'm a bit confused.

Could just be the allocation Swansea have taken, its less hassle if they are in the upper tier Id guess

I was thinking that myself and perhaps they've not paid for the full section - knowing Swansea's support it's unlikely they'd come close to filling it.

Still, it's slightly unusual to have fans (even if they're away fans) further away from the pitch when there's a clear, open area in front of them.

For anyone extremely bored out there...

The Irish league cup final is live on sky at 5.30 tonight. My home town team Ballymena looking to retain the trophy, so I am going glory hunting to Windsor Park.

It's old school football with some epic hoofing that BFS would be proud of. Only difference is these guys are all part time and earn about £150 quid a week plus petrol money lol

It happens all the time mate at Wednesday. It's always the upper tier for the away fans and the lower is empty unless the away team have been offered more tickets.

Millwall away is the same, away fans always in the upper tier with the lower tier empty.

FA Cup weekends succcckkkkk.

I feel like the FA overvalue how much people still care about this competition, it should be on during midweek like league cup. I only ever see it as a nuisance, the same way I view international breaks.

Bin it
