Yes, you can't be sent off for DOGSO if it's a genuine attempt to win the ball and a penalty is awarded.

Pretty obvious Jones was going for the ball and just missed, it wasn't a shirt pull or cynical trip.

But it appears even Chelsea players didn't seem to realise that, oir they were just trying it on in the 1% hope Oliver would wrongly change his mind.
