You can only act as a breeding ground for the bigger clubs and stay in the PL for so long.
Since the original owner , Liebherr died and his daughter took over they have been on a downward spiral.
I’d say you could put out a fairly impressive first 11 of players that Southampton have sold who are still playing top flight football
