Tbf Kompany has played a lot of games lately. Playing him tonight would have been a big injury risk.

I don't think it's good for moral when you have to substitute your team captain 20 minutes or so into a game. On top of that you lose a substitution.

Saying that I would have chosen a less risky formation, but who knows maybe it works.

Just waiting for 5 Live to turn the presenters off to let us hear the City support, y'know, like they did at the pit.

I can see City grabbing an early goal but the RS then being able to subdue them until quite deep into the second half. Possibly City to snatch a second with 10 minutes or so to go, with one more goal left in the 90 minutes which could really go either way. If it goes to ET I can see City having the squad to copy with it better, plus the better keeper should it go to pens.

My prediction is for City to go two up by about the hour mark and a thrilling finale set up, only for an RS goal to kill the tie stone dead thanks to the anachronistic away goal rule.

City to score again to record a 3-1 “victory”.
