We're not a story. Every other team is.

Which is a good thing hopefully. Means we should get our head down. The Palace game is massive.

Aye I'm more perplexed that after 14 or 15 games into a season some of our fans are not looking at results and how they impact us, but would rather think how they impact Liverpool, seriously us and Liverpool could both win over this weekend and some posters will be looking at how Liverpool have closed on City rather than looking at how the results effect us instead.

it's a sad sad way to follow your team IMO

justa quick quetion; why do we hate Villa so much in this forum, am I missing something cuase I know there scruffs but I rather see Newcastle go down than Villa

I remember when we were crud in the early 90's, Newcastle and Villa got way ahead of themselves and looked right down their noses at us. But yeah, especially Newcastle who are just a horrible bunch in general.

We win Monday, and we should not take them lightly, we go 6th/7th. 5 points from 4th, 2 points off Spurs.

Going into Xmas-Jan we should be in the mix

West Ham, Southampton, Spurs all dropping points. Liverpool and Palace still to play. Leicester taking all 3. I look at these teams now in terms of our rivals. So far, a decent weekend for the blues. Would be nice if Leicester's run would end soon though, may start worrying otherwise!!

it wasn't that long ago us & Villa were at loggerheads for the best-of-the-rest trophy, swapping 5th & 6th places and that. They have a similar status and history to us so sometimes it's like looking in the mirror.

aye...I've been to hell and back trying to make sense of this...nowadays just accept it as a rather curious way to follow football. I look at their results too and hope they lose everytime, but doesn't go much further than that. Remember how many blues wanted us to lose the final game in 2013/14 as it would spite Liverpool's title charge? I was fuming at the time, but in hindsight many of those Man City-supporting Evertonians live in Liverpool and were aghast at the possibility of a zombie-esque red party in the city...I sort of get it now.

win the next 2,we are playing 1st next sat,and we are 5th just 5 points from top,off course without the afternoon games been played at that stage, and having needing us to win 2 games in a row something we have not done in 8 months, all in the mind

Well, just a Keown said it there on Final Score. Consistency needs to kick in about now.

Thank christ the Vardy phap-fest over. He isnt even any good, really. i tell you...5 goals between no and the end of the season, and I reckon an 8 game goalless streak

Bolasie and Zaha will give our full-backs a good examination. Really not sure how the game's going to go. Could be a high-scoring affair. Hopefully Baines is ready.

Martinez has played them 4 times now and never given them the respect they deserve, and we've been turned over.

I hope he doesn't do it again. If Cleverly comes in for Kone too then we'll have a chance IMO
