See i appreciate what they are saying and they are right to protest it.

It just seems a a bit mad to say 'the owner is making us buy food, lets get rid of him'. I know there is more to it but just off that story alone you would think the whole thing is silly.

I don't see the point in going the game to just walk out at the 17th minute

Just don't turn up and refuse to sit in that particular stand

They'll soon ammend the ticket prices if that stand has no one sitting it in

To be fair, they would be missing the point there! the club wants their money, not their presence. walking out after buying the ticket is giving the club what they want.

In a crazy scenario, they all could walk out every week and bar it raising questions, as long as the club got their ticket prices in then it wouldn't be an issue for the board.

I suppose it's their clumsy way of saying they're behind the team but against the board.

Unfortunately, as you point out, the team will have to suffer as 'collateral' damage in any effective protest
