I'm strictly talking about away from home.

We've been good against the top teams at Goodison for a long time now.
Under Martinez:

two away games at Chelsea, lost both 1-0 but we easily deserved something from both games
two away games to Utd, one won and should have got a draw in the second
two away games to City, no arguments on the first game, should have beaten a poor City in the second
two away games to Arsenal, drew the first that we should have won, no complaints about last season's mauling

I think we go in and cause these teams problems. Better finishing and defending and the record in them could be much better points wise. Performances though have been a credit.

Same old, same old for me. I think we're capable of getting draws in these games but the ability isn't there from the players to get us over the line.

I don't think Martinez is at fault for that because he probably thinks we could go to the Nou Camp and get a win. It genuinely does come down to the fact these teams have better players who can turn a game on its head in a moment.

This is one of those rare occasions where I'm happy that I couldn't get the day off work

They're going to absolutely wallop us, and their fans are going to be unbearable about it

Mate their last two results combined with our ones from the last two has everyone thinking this will be a walkover for Arsenal, and traditionally that is when they absolutely mess it all up, they are as inconsistent as ever and with everyone thinking this is a formality before it's even started then that's the type of game they usually find a way to bollox up, confident we will see a massive bounce back performance from our lads after that United game and could very well nick a result from a overly complacent and inconsistent Arsenal

Not exactly Tonight's Football but will embark on my epic journey to Anderlecht later. All being well it will only take 32 hours from leaving my place at 22.30 later and getting home at 6.30 on Fri.

What's the betting it is a 0-0 draw!

Nothing beats the buzz of hanging around Tottenham High Road at 3am waiting for a coach.

From MiB podcast:

Michael Davies: "Everton used to be for me under Moyes a very consistently better than mid-table/below top 5 team.

Roger: "You might as well just pat me on the head as you talk about this, but go on"

Watching the Champions League goals show on BT Sport, where Howard Webb was asked what its like refereeing at the Etihad. He said something a long the lines of:

"It's nothing like refereeing at Stoke or Everton, where the fans are so close to you and you'll hear everything they are saying. They like to show you just how Partizan they are"

I think its fair to say Webb was a bit intimidated refereeing at Goodison... but nothing we didn't already know
