I don't get your point? Neuer produced a "world class" save to keep it level early on, and two last gasp pieces of defending in the half could have seen Walcott in and Arsenal out of sight going in 3-0 up.

Bayern were relying on Arsenal to make a mistake to score, and didn't switch once from the plan that had been working for them all season, even when it became clear the opposition had stifled it; Arsenal, on the other hand, were relying on their tactics to meet the challenge of the individual game.

I think a LB intent on getting forward more would be obliterated by Bellerin atm. Galloway stands a better chance of containing him, imo.

Sadly, that has been the exception rather than the norm and we've been dispatched in these games comfortably.

Cech saved Arsenal from an unfavourable scoreline. Bayern walked through at will at times. It's a tribute to Cech more than anything.
