why should footballers careers be judged differently ? It's a career. The idea is to make a living... Just like real life not everyone is in their field because they adore what they do. Thinking footballers should be held to different standards to the general public is retarded. Just because you are already making good money doesn't mean the appeal of more money suddenly vanishes.

If I was a footballer and got offered insane money to play in China compare to Spain I'd take it. Why not ? Only team I'd hang around for would be Everton. Every other club would be like a job to me, I'm there to make money.

It's like you expect every footballer to have an undying love for the game which overrides everything. Do you think that's the case in every line of work ? Of course it isnt so why would it be different in football, you utter fool.

Why is it so much racism in italian football compared to other european countries?

I think in general there is more of an Alf Garnett acceptance of it in certain countries (a kind of Trump-style "I'm going to say anything offensive that I want that the liberal pussies don't want me to").

But in Italy, certainly, old white very conservative men run a lot of the country. And, in football, the old white men have let the ultras culture into the clubs, which in Italy is mostly (although not entirely) from the extreme right. Having an easily mobilised group of thugs who you can deny any relationship with is seen as politically desirable in quite a few countries. (See Serbia and the Balkan wars.)
