Hoping fouling time wasting niggling gets Swansea go down.
There were times today when I wished that an utterly inept, couldn't score if they played all night Palace joined them.
Then I remembered we are 5th and were in administration 5 1/2 years ago plummeting towards League 1.

Let's be real - Jamie Vardy won't get in front of Costa, Falcao, Traore or anyone that can play in that position in Chelsea and even if he does, he's not gonna fit in their style or be their saviour. We're having Michu situation once again, except that Leicester should learn from Swansea's terrible mistake and actually sell one-season wonder like him for huge amount of money instead of keeping him.
He'd definitely get ahead of Falcao who has been awful in this league and probably ahead of Remy who is injury prone and Traore who is inexperienced. They are relying on Costa and his dodgy hamstrings/temperament which I'd be very uncomfortable with if I was in Chelsea's shoes. Who else could they realistically get in this window that would be better than Vardy?

There are definitely a lot of players who I would pick in front of him and are cheaper, but there's no doubt he's been pretty amazing this season. However, not 30£ million amazing IMHO. Don't forget he would be a back-up, is 28 years old and a very risky move as there's a high chance he's just a one-season wonder.

But are they available and experienced in the league?

To a certain extent both teams only need him to maintain it for another 6 months - it would be crazy for a team like us to do it but for them, with their resouces and current situation I'm not sure.

Not experienced in the league no, even though they could potentially get Kane, Austin, Ighalo, Berahino etc. All I'm saying is that it's way too much for someone like him.

I certainly would be unhappy us paying it!

Tbh think Leicester are going to be very reluctant sellers in this window, they have an unusual opportunity to get into the CL and selling one of their two top scorers would seriously dent their chances of achieving that.

Think Utd/Chelsea should give a chance to their young strikers Wilson and Bamford but guess they will open their wallet instead.

lol if thats true,the plonker

on another thing, how come there is footy in spain this week, whats happened to there mid winter break they usually have, gives us footy to watch anyway
Apparently Del Bosque was concerned that keeping their usual schedule would leave his players little rest time prior to the Euros so they have moved a couple of games to ensure they finish mid May - that is what Guardian writer Sid Lowe said when asked on football weekly anyhow.
