Everton level red-card there for Rooney*

*If an Everton player had committed the foul he'd be out for 3 games (in fact compare with Mirallas' stupid half-stamp at Swansea)

City and Chelsea are apparently fighting for Jamie Vardy and ridiculous 30£ million price is being mentioned. What on earth...
Tbf both desperately need a reliable premier league goalscorer, preferably one who isn't cup tied in the European competitions and there aren't many around - sellers market and both buyers have a decent amount of money.

If you were Leicester what price would you put on his head in this window?

Probably something as crazy as 30£ million, but no way I would buy him for that money if I were Chelsea or City. I know they have money and all that, but that does not justify act of buying Jamie effin Vardy for the price you could get Lukaku 2 years ago.

I think it's hilarious, he's 28 and having a purple patch it's not like he's friggin Alan Shearer. I'm with you.

If it stops Chelsea getting relegated (sounds crazy but they are only 3 points from safety and they are not a side that would have been expecting such a fight) or gets Utd into the CL (currently 6th and 5 points adrift of 4th) then the extra money compared to his true value would be trivial.

Let's be real - Jamie Vardy won't get in front of Costa, Falcao, Traore or anyone that can play in that position in Chelsea and even if he does, he's not gonna fit in their style or be their saviour. We're having Michu situation once again, except that Leicester should learn from Swansea's terrible mistake and actually sell one-season wonder like him for huge amount of money instead of keeping him.
