subtitute in the win v Wolfsburg and two away draws and we've be in the top 4.
The Leicester and Arsenal games are the two that come to mind in terms of points dropped but hey ho. Nobody's really gotten away from us we can't reign in. I suspect we will overtake our neighbours next week and then we are hunting down the top four.

i struggle to understand how we're below liverpool. suppose two teams with opposite amounts of luck. they've been utter dirge, as have we, but still. we haven't been losing consistantly to lower half teams like they have.

We have too win our next to games imo.

Thursday is massive for us. Beat Lille and we are almost out of a very difficult Europa group. Balancing the league with Europe has proved difficult for Roberto. I think this competition remains our priority. Win it and we get the 2 things we want most (CL and trophy). This remains an easier task than winning the prem or finishing top 4 and winning the FA. Plus we would be seeded in qualifiers. All makes sense if we can keep the balance right. Lots of points to pick up once qualification is assured.

We've not clicked, we've had a toughish run and we've not put away a couple of teams. They've scraped a few more results as per and had a couple of teams you'd expect to pick points up from.

Yep, Europe is important but the fans need to understand that we could finish between 7th and 10th if we put Europe first. This doesn't bother me as I would love us to get far in Europe but can see some of our fans fume if we finish below 6th and will bash Martinez for this.

i seriously don't think we need to prioritise, we have a good enough squad. beat lille and we can send out a reserve team to wolsberg as a mix and match team should beat the ruskies at home and that will see us win the group.

you look at united, spurs' and RS squads and they're the ones that can't compete in both, not us. of course united don't have europe, but their squad depth will be tested over the next few months, it's pretty dire.
