attended a "friendly" between Paraguay and Honduras. Ended 2-2, with the second half being more luchando than futbol. Game was spiraling out of control late in the first half. Around the 60 minute mark a Paraguayan was kicked in the chest by a Honduran channeling his inner South Africa 2010 Final Dutch National Muay Thai squad. Paraguayan got up and promptly punched the Honduran in the chops. Kerfuffle. Red cards.

5 minutes later (or so, I had been drinking most the afternoon) Paraguay scored the equalizer.

The lat 25 minutes of the match featured more stoppages and whistles than an NFL American Football/Hand Egg game.

Honduras are the snidiest snides who ever snided, #21 in particular. CLutching, grabbing, diving, faking... Paraguay tried to play it straight, but once the more theatric crap was being called, embellished as well.

Ended with the Honduras manager getting booted in stoppage time.

At least unlike a week ago, no offices stormed nor trophies tossed on the pitch.
