we've been losing to teams who have loast 4 or 5 in a row etc.

so maybe playing palace when they're bang in form will be different? just our luck we play two terrible teams like WBA and palace when they get a confidence boost from new managers, whilst others get to take an easy 3 points off them

duffy was great, but baftebi gomis is fairly poor. well he's looked really poor since he's been over here, how many french caps does he have again?

If Gomis ever puts an Arsenal shirt on,I will weep.

Nice to see ex-gunner and current Gunner giving the Saints a hard time.

Christ I wouldn't want to be playing Palace home or away right now. We've got them away in 2 weeks. Pencil that one as a draw at best. I hate all these bloody London derbies.

Well, it looks as if Palace have new found fight under Pardew already. They don't know when they are beaten. They come from behind to beat Spurs and give them their first defeat in seven games, come from behind to beat Burnley and their currently doing the same v Southampton away.

Could you envision us doing the same thing against either of those teams? I'll give you a hint: look at our performance v Southampton away.

But as you say, its our luck that's the issue...

Just watching Norwich-Brentford as there are a fair few EFC-related connections.

Ruddy in goal for Norwich. Bidwell at left back for Brentford. David Weir assistant manager (?) for Brentford. Chris Long (on loan) on the bench for Brentford.

Brentford playing really nice fast one-touch football which is just about the opposite of the current Everton (quote from the commentator in the first half: "the manager doesn't want to see any passes just going sideways"). Excellent running from the forwards to open up space - they should have been two or three up before Norwich equalised.

Redmond, mentioned as a possible EFC transfer target, put in four dangerous crosses, two bad ones and skinned Bidwell for the (deflected) Norwich goal.

reckon we'll beat both Palace and Liverpool mate. No idea why but I think we will.

Like Brentford. Seems like one of these "well-run" clubs in the Soton/Swansea mould.

its der magic of da fa cup

i think i must be the only person who actually wants all the big teams to win their games so we aren't stuck with another weekend of god awful fixtures.
