i hope we were watching arsenal's passing btw, our players pass the ball too much into feet which is the main problem, whilst they pass it 2 yards in front of the player for them to run onto it with momentum. it also attracts the defender out thinking he can nick the ball which can often lead to a one two around him, a free kick, a yellow card or just simply make it easier to go around him.

it's the main reason why we've been so slow this season. watching jags and distin play out of the back, they constantly pass it straight to feet or behind the man.

Spot on.

just seen ronaldo scored 2 more haha, ridiculous, he's scored 36 goals this season already, we're only in january! hope he doesn't get injured because he's going to do something special.

36 is about 10 more than something a team would be ecstatic to have from one of their players at the end of the season!

la liga is a bit tosh though, i mean those top 2/3 just win virtually every weekend. city and chelsea do slip up a fair few times against teams other than themselves.

Good weekend results for us down our end of the table. Perhaps Palace winning instead of drawing with Burnley is the only slight blemish. Keeping my fingers crossed for a win against Pullis's Albion, although a draw would suffice in seeing us back above Palace in the table.

Got to win tomorrow imo.

Thank heavens others are noticing that our passing to feet should be passing in front of to aid forward momentum.

During the City / Arsenal game commentator mentioned that Arsenal were playing in their away strip for "Commercial Reasons".
Are teams supposed to play a number of games in an away strip in order to justify selling these in their club shops?
Stinks a bit IMO. In my naivety, I thought it was only for a clash of strips!

There are likely to be a few teams who are going to have kits that clash with very few other teams. Imagine your disappointment at buying a kit that they wear on two occasions in a whole season. And the sponsors who paid a pretty penny to have their names emblazoned on that kit...

Good wins for Madrid & Barca. Just don't understand why Real Madrid would exchange Bale, whether he was unhappy or not. He clearly is scoring for them and is matching Ronaldo in a lot of the games.

Aye ............ still stinks a bit though.
