Last season, when we were good and Spurs weren't, they still nearly pinched 5th place. This season I think they are shoo-ins for that spot. Their new manager has added steel to their will.

PS when we visit Swansea they will probably put away all the chances they missed today

Swansea undone by this suicidal tendency so fashionable in football these days of "playing it out from the back".

It sounds good in theory but the reality is that Swansea player did what Howard did at OT and casually "passed" it to an opposition player.

There are times when aiming for Row ZZZ somewhere near the halfway line is your best plan.

Especially in the dying minutes of a game.

The first manager to break ranks from the new orthodoxy is going to reap rewards, IMO

Absolutely despise Spurs.

Them, Arsenal and Utd all have momentum now. We need to sort our league form out asap or we're about to get left behind.

we only got a point at anfield because of a last minute wonder goal from a centre half

we conceded 6 at home to chelsea

we lost at home to crystal palace

we lost to man utd when they were at their most vulnerable state with the media backlash

we lost to both spurs and chelsea our top 4 rivals

not 1 result in the prem has infused me with the confidence that we are capable of hitting top 6 this year never mind top 4.

We are bedwetters on the most crucial games, the league for me is over, I am praying for the Europa now.

top 6 seems unlikely. I appreciate there is a lot of games to go, but the way we are currently playing suggests mid table finish at best

We've not been good. I won't dispute this. But put a string of results together now we've got no Europa League turnaround to worry about and a nearly full strength squad to pick from then I'd fancy us. What fills me with confidence is that none have really taken advantage of our crap results and there a lot of football to play.

i hate them more than the RS this season. at least the RS are getting the turd results their play deserves. luck can only get you so far though, when someone takes eriksen off them, what do they have? it's the rodgers effect really with pochettino, average manager, as long as it keeps him in the job,

There are plenty of times when playing it from the back is quite simply the WRONG DECISION, which puts your team under unnecessary pressure.

Other teams are well on to it, they press high, and they end up going home with the three points!

It isn't clever, it's BLOODY STUPID !!!
