Goofy probably hurt himself more diving out of the way of Rodwells tackle THAT MISSED him and saw Jack sent off - diving tw@t... still fume regularly about that red card.

I'm not going to lie, i cheered when Kev went in for that tackle. Made up for the lad to do something about the year before, not an advocate for revenge on the pitch but i am for people trying to injure the player first.

I'd never want a player to get seriously injured, but when the likes of Goofy earned so much through diving and feigning injury, one cannot but smile about the poetic justice when he did get hurt.
And the thing is in derby matches, any iffy tackle is likely to be cheered given the situation.
I used to go up to Celtic-Rangers games back when Dogleash was a Celt and you would not believe how the fans used to bay for the opposition to get clattered and injured. SFA Cup Final, with over 90,000 in Hampden and the green half cheered their heads off to a man as Danny McGrain absolutely combine-harvester tackled the Rangers right winger whose name I forget.

It drives me mad that nobody tried to absolutely clatter him in a tackle whilst he was in the prem. Given the chance it would have been great to lift the fecker 3ft off the deck with a 'tackle'

suarez has tried to end a few players' careers. that alone means he deserves to get utterly clattered never mind everything else

They usually start really quickly after the first match, so dont know what they will do. Probably got some rule agreed with sponsors, UEFA etc. Maybe ours kicks off 10 minutes late? Wouldnt make much difference.
