Even when they're sh**, we still seem to go into derbies with loads of injuries and consequently don't beat them. I need a derby win or two under my belt before I can be genuinely optimistic about them again. 2010. Hodgson. That was the last time. It'll have been the best part of 5 years by the time we play them.

Feck.....I didn't realise that.

We ain't won a derby in five years

We wont get to play the RS in the EL as they will get knocked out in the next round.

Quite so, but before we all kill ourselves laughing at them, we have to win our game and there are better teams than them who could get booted down...the 'loser' of the Roma - City game for one, would not be my first pick if we advance.
Good job we have 8 or 9 weeks to get our act together for who ever it is we get.
The draw is on the 16th?? I think.
Then it's Thursday-Sunday-tastic Feb, Mar and Apr.

Watching the Morning View on SSN.
Basically the 'pundit' just said 'Liverpool are too big of a club for Europa and should be concentrating always on Champions League.' :D

Have we ever played the RS in a two-legged match? I'm guessing way back when the league cup was a fully two-legged affair.

Also, Ramsey's goal last night. Nice.

'I certainly think losing Suarez had a big effect on Liverpool.' You don't say mate. Turning this off now.

P. S. Looking forward to seeing Roma win later

We had a charmed run like that between '94 and '98. Played them 9 times on the bounce and never lost.

These sequences happen.

I watched them a number of times that year, and they'd regularly pick up three points, but the entire time I kept thinking, how? RVP and Ferguson's sheer force of will carried them to the title that last season.
agreed, they were shocking at times.

As well, I hope to see all of the english teams do well (Besides the wrong'uns) in Europe as it keeps the amount of places up for grabs stable and can help us be seeded higher as a result.
