Well what a dump last few footy days that was! Hopefully remedied 2mrw...
Long season mate.

What goes around comes around.

The problem is that whilst Utd, RS and spurs are losing to the likes of Newcastle, Villa and Leicester, we cannot capialize and also lose against teams like Palace.

Its the Everton way and its been like this for my entire adult life

I watched the Utd/Hull game at the weekend and that first half alone, Hull's performance was the worst display ive seen this season. It was truly embarrassing.

As seems to be the going trend this season, Hull will somehow play like a team gunning for the CL tomorrow and give us more than a game.
If they play like spurs did, put pressure on distan, he'll give the ball away they'll score...

Did we play Sunderland after a EL game? What about Swansea? How about Liverpool
Liverpool was us at Anfield as per. Sunderland was after an EL game and the Swansea game.....so?
They deserve credit for being where they are, they're the most likely of that group to drop out admittedly but it wont be at our expense
I'm all for giving them credit, but you honestly look around and see a team comfortably better than us competing at the same level bar maybe Arsenal. Yeah Sunday was crap but it isn't going to decide our entire season.

I don't think Gerrard will ever retire, will he

The garden will be rosy...then it will leak out that they actually offered him more to stay like the Chelsea scenario.... "I thought I wasn't wanted....you haven't walked in my shoes" etc. Heres 100k then Stevie...ok I'll stay. No self respect the lot of them the way they carry themselves.

really? ah, i'm torn. i'm tempted to want them to go on a run, be 4th and ahead of us by 10 points. all the flag rubbish and bus parades only to sh*t themselves as we overhaul them with ease, before west ham, swansea, newcastle and then crystal palace all overtake them.

Their February and March are pretty horrendous and there aren't many bankers in April and May either.

Ours are pretty nice fixtures from March onwards. Having the home derby to come is also a bonus.

That said, they may have money to spend in January and maybe Sturridge coming back will make an impact, so it's still hard to tell. They have dropped a lot of points against poor sides so far though.

Love the way Mason was over that challenge on Lambert like a rash to get his red card out,the very same referee who deliberated for about two minutes when Coleman was taken out in the area by Wickham up at Sunderland the other week, they play by a different set of rules with them these officials, not that I'm paranoid about it or anything:D

yes

swansea was just before a tough europa game

and liverpool was just after a LC game

End of the day every game is after a game ffs

Its no excuse, We have been poor all season, Predictable one paced football

Watch us struggle against Hull tomorrow

not worried about them tbh. i know we'll get our act together eventually. we're playing badly with good players, these players won't play this badly throughout a whole season. the main reason has been injuries though, even the players playing are not fully fit. all very well saying our team vs spurs looked great on paper, but how many were doubts? it showed, we won't get those injuries all season.

liverpool on the other hand. they finished 2nd last season purely because of suarez and also because of sturridge, he won't be as good without suarez that's clear. what were they before suarez' freak season? finishing 7th and 8th weren't they? what have they bought this summer? loads of players who finished 8th last season.

they're performing at their level, they're not under-performing at all.

it's over a whole season, it always maps out as it should do.
