we were never getting 4th anyway, just not possible in todays climate.. the traditionally dominant teams always find a way to get top 4 whereas teams like us always miss out.

thats the way the sport goes and its not changing anytime soon.

Came pretty close last season, like.

I reject the notion that this side isn't good enough. Tactics/Mentality seems to always get in the way.

we're clearly still in the top 4 hunt. every single team has struggled this season and they have all looked totally horrific. it won't be a shock if teams like soton, whu and swansea are all still in the hunt going into the last couple of months, especially in the hunt for europe - the league is utterly dire in terms of quality - if it weren't for injuries we'd probably be pissing top 4 this season.

If we're in touch with Liverpool going into the last 3 months of the season, we'll finish above them no problem. They have a really long, hard run-in and we have 3 months of winnable games. Our hardest in that time are United at home and Spurs at home.

QPR are utterly awful. they go to a team like swansea with no other ambition than to put 11 men behind the ball. keeper MOM with 10/10 and they still could easily have lost about 6 or 7-0, they were utterly hopeless from what i could see.

from our performance, slow lethargic play, nobody trying to create a chance, how are we gonna turn it round and catch 4 of UTD SPURS RS SAINTS and Arsenal, it is just not happening no way in a million years
Because a sluggish performance on a Sunday after a Europa league game has become the norm. We can turn it round quite easily if Martinez picks the right team and we starting picking up a bit of pace. Also Saints? FFS.

Did we play Sunderland after a EL game? What about Swansea? How about Liverpool

They deserve credit for being where they are, they're the most likely of that group to drop out admittedly but it wont be at our expense

really? ah, i'm torn. i'm tempted to want them to go on a run, be 4th and ahead of us by 10 points. all the flag rubbish and bus parades only to sh*t themselves as we overhaul them with ease, before west ham, swansea, newcastle and then crystal palace all overtake them.
