I'd ascribe the responsibility to those who made the signings, myself.
Lallana and Lambert did very well today, by the way. God knows why Moreno was benched though.
Lovren, on the other hand, is probably our worst signing ever. Even Andy Carroll made a bit more sense and at least gave us 18m back.
I thoroughly expected us to lose today. Now I can only be kind of confident when we're playing at home against a [Poor language removed] team. Confident for us to get a draw, that is.
Car crash of a season indeed. Our CL place hangs in the balance and the timing could not be worse.
I don't think Rodgers should go nor that his job is actually in danger. This season will teach us a lot, I feel, though with great suffering.
I think things will eventually click for us but by then 4th will be a stretch and we'll be out of the Champions League. With a bit of luck we might nick the Europa League if we come to it.

Rob in Birmingham: If Kenny Daglish was still in charge Liverpool's league position would be far better now and he would have had the nous to take the title last year from their winning position? He signed Suarez after all. Still a big mistake letting him go for me. How many other managers are there around who have won the league?

They have an easy game at home on Thursady whereas we have a tough away one.

Neither team's form has been that great after the EL games though, think there will be goals and just hope we manage to score more.

He NEEDS to drop Gerrard, to drop Lovren and to drop Glen Johnson.
It's all very well accepting responsibility, but he needs to have the bollocks to drop those three players who are constantly letting us down and who cost us the title last season. All evidence suggests he hasn't got the bollocks to do so. He's hardly going to chuck his landlord out of the team is he? And unfortunately without the balls to do so, these results are only going to get worse and his job is going to be hanging by a thread very shortly.
