To be fair, any goalie who can remotely blame a defender for his own mistake will do so. Call it mental health protection (think Schmeichel blaming Pallister and Bruce when a ball went through his own legs). However, this fella knows...even he can't put his heart into blaming the defender. It's just too egregious. The poor defender even tried to duck. Nah, his heart isn't in it. He had the ball. He had time. He can't bring himself to rant at the defender. He's made enough of a clown of himself as it is... So he mutters to himself to hold on to whatever shred of personal dignity he can still cling on to.

Ref is falling for Newcastle’s tricks. Apparently if you go down and pretend to be hurt after a fair challenge the ref will buy it. Happened twice already where it was pretty clear wolves just won the ball.

No idea if he's actually any good but watching Bueno at full back today shows what having someone who's comfortable on the ball in that position can do to help the team. A few times Wolves have passed from defence through midfield into attack and it's been down to him playing a quick simple pass.
