I honestly don't watch any Bundesliga so didn't really know much about him. All I can say is that I've not been impressed by him at all so far this season and think he's looked poor. I also saw him live for Germany the other week and he wasn't involved in the game at all.

You can find neat and tidy midfielders of PL calibre standard for a lot less than 115m.

But that's my point, the player that was playing in Germany looked like a £100m+ player easily. I'm agreeing with you in a sense that he looks a bit lost at the moment and I have no idea why, he looks a shadow of the player that was under Alonso.
