Not many Clubs outside the 'elite' won trophies in consecutive seasons nowadays. A special era for the club.

Imagine telling the Palace fans in 2005, after they’d just been relegated in one of the craziest final days, that 11 years later they’d be an established PL side and win 3 trophies (including a European one) in the space of a year

Just a pity that the Conference winners aren’t involved with the Super Cup as a Palace/Villa semi to play PSG or Arsenal would make a fun week before the season starts
