Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Three CL’s in a row though says they were more than a collection of individuals.

I remember one year I think it was the year they beat our lovable neighbours, they had an unbelievably tough draw, it it was something like City then Juventus then Bayern then they did the RS too
Three CLs in a row was very impressive - but not too many at the time really felt they were a truly great side. They weren't consistent enough domestically - and some of their wins were a little suspect at times, getting decisions that were questionable. They did have fabulous individuals though and were never beaten even when it seemed they should be. Strange things seemed to happen in their games (like the Bayern keeper falling over in his own box, Michael Oliver awarding iffy penalties, and Loris Karius being wonderful). I think they were brilliant at leveraging their history and intimidating opponents psychologically.
