Why are you so desperate for it though, if it’s the most obvious transfer of all time, why wasn’t he lining up against Leeds back in August? The man is not going to be an Everton player and I’ll bet my bottom dollar on that being true by the time the opening game of next season

I'm not remotely desperate for it to happen - but the best way to ensure it doesn't is to wave Davey a fond farewell come the summer now that he has secured "stability."

Giving him the keys to the kingdom this summer comes with danger...

Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford all got more to them than us. Bournemouth in particular got some talent in there - that Jimenez at RB is a serious talent.

Last two games have killed us off. Could have been right in the running for top six and seven.
