It's actually bizarre. They assume the whole country is behind the PL club when we hate the buggers week to week.

I used to get behind any British team in europe ... any. Then the RS alienated themselves with Heysel so I made an exception. Since the prem and sky money and the fact that the British teams aren't British any more (mercenaries and overseas owners) - why would I want them to win?

Haven't watched a european game on tv in over 20 years.
