That line-up to start was complete nonsense. That second half should have been how Liverpool started this game tonight to get the crowd going. It should not have been Alexander Isak to start.

Bet you they couldn't wait to see Ekitike and Isak together. Their recruitment was a mess in the summer. They want to see the young lad starting games off the left but they can't shoehorn all their big signings in as well.

Alexander Isak made three passes and touched the ball five times. I don't think he could play 45 minutes, 10 at best, but 45 minutes? Never in a million years.

The late signing of Alexander Isak derailed everything for me. You could have kept Hugo Ekitike and not spent £130m on Isak, keep Florian Wirtz and maybe that £130m you spent on Isak you could have spent on someone else. Another centre-back? How did Marc Guehi not end up here? It is ridiculous.
It was. And to anyone who knows anything about association soccer it equates to a dry bumming of the highst order
