I hate the kid because of the goal he scored against us that changed the narrative of that game from '... champions elect escape with lucky win' to '... 16 year old is the best football player ever. Isn't it wonderful he plays for Arsenal?!' Alan Smith on comms was particulary disgusting that day. I'd love to have seen his face yesterday.

And yeh, the commentary yesterday were way overblown but the kid looked good. Good on the turn. Strong and skilful. Eye for a pass. Had a shot saved by the keeper at full stretch. If he keeps this up you can see he should be a world class player. Whether he will be...

I'm often reminded of Callum Hudson Odi who was meant to be the next wonderkid off the production line, early England cap, loads of hype who then drifted into the Chelsea churn and is now at Forest. Good career, clearly, but not the career he expected i guess. A lot has to go right for a talented kid to fulfil their potential.
