They had a lot of injuries but equally they left Saliba Gyokeres and Raya on the bench. They look a complete mess defensively when they start with Kepa in goal.

I agree it’s weaker than maybe 1-2 changes but it’s still far too strong for a Champ side.

If we rotate we look Champ level, if Arsenal rotate it’s still a CL XL.

The team wasn't weak and they should have won the game with that side, but I will never understand leaving out your best goalkeeper in big games like a quarter final. Especially when the second keeper is not very good and the defenders look nervous in front of him.

Think he’s just their cup keeper regardless of that final.

It looks like it but I really dont understand it. Why hurt your chances of winning trophies by leaving your top quality goalkeeper on the bench. I can't imagine Raya is impressed either.

Except it was just proven that it wasn’t. It was on paper, but on the pitch it wasn’t.

I’ve seen top teams do it all the time, they take a gamble and rotate but sometimes all it does is send a signal to both teams that they’re not taking the match as seriously as they should.
