I asked a guy I know through work (proper football encyclopedia he is) about their manager and why he has never moved yet. He reckons its because Knutsens mo is very suited to playing on their plastic pitch and the rigors of Norwegian football and there is doubt as to how well it would translate into a bigger league over a sustained period. There is also the issue of players, for all they seem to have some decent players who look good the only one who has stepped up a level to any great success is Victor Boniface, a few others that they have sold on in the past have tended to flop and end up back at Bodo or elsewhere in Scandinavian football.

Isn't the bold part a reason to hire him though? Like he can clearly squeeze the most out of limited players.

Nobody has made a move as of yet and there must be a reason for that but yeah he clearly can get his players up for things or he has Pep level tactics. It is an odd one when you see what Bodo have done in the CL in recent years. Gallardo lost his job today also, I remember when everyone wanted him a few years back.

It's just rare to see any modern manager these days actually just improve someone. We need a Howe that can turn diamonds out of your Josh Murphy's and Joelinton's.

I don't get how he's already banned. Surely that means he's already been found guilty? Otherwise if he's found not guilty he's already been punished?
