Winning a cup for me is not about getting into Europe because of it, its the euphoria its gives you by winning.
I understand fans wanting to be in Europe in any capacity but for me being in Europe has been diluted to the point it lacks quality and it's become meaningless.
Again just my opinion mate im sure not too many don't share my thoughts considering where we have been for years.

I believe the league cup to be more prestigious than the tertiary European competition, so I’d rather win that, yes

It’s a day out at Wembley and it’s the last trophy we need for the full domestic set

Winning it constitutes history and Everton joining an elite group

So does any other title we can win and discarding it like this is genuinely bizarre. Can you imagine winning all the European titles too? Gotta start somewhere. Or is it just the ones you want to gatekeep as being big?

The League cup is definitely not more prestigious than any European competition.

Gotta say, dead weird behaviour, not for me, but you do you lads, opinions and all. At the end of the day we're not winning any of them any time soon by the look of things anyway.

I fully expect both/all of you saying these things to be distraught if we get to the conference league and to never celebrate a win there btw.

im not saying that homophobia is worse than racism, just that he/his representatives feel like its acceptable/more forgiving to use a homophobic insult

That he is looking to find a constructive solace in the mess, speaks for his character, and it wasn't easy listening to his examples of lads in Eastern European leagues and the bad days of the 60's. It was measured critique of mourinho as well.
Problem with racists is they are cowards, and that kind only understand punishment. Secret mic him up, record them, confront them, imprison them. Land on them like ten tons of bricks and it'll stop it very quick. When clubs start inserting racism clauses into contracts so the player themselves are liable for their transfer fee and the loss to the club, it'll straighten a few up.
