Yes. Morally, preventing a certain goal by cynically fouling somebody, meaning that they only get a free kick 30 yards out and the chance to play against 10 men for 5 seconds instead of a goal should have a different outcome.

I have now read back and understand the argument more.

I’m now thinking, for example, if it were 1-1 and this happened. I would be rightly livid. There should be some in between where if it’s a cynical foul outside the box, it’s still a penalty or something like that.
